Compressor oil return is not conducive to frequent starts . Ben oil back to the oil less compressor will be short of oil . The shorter running time , the longer the line , the more complex the system , the more prominent oil return problems. For there is no oil pressure safety switch closed compressor ( including scroll compressors and compressor rotor ) and some semi- hermetic compressors ) , damage caused by frequent starts is more and more .

 

Compressor maintenance is equally important. Defrosting the evaporator temperature, the oil viscosity is reduced , flows easily . After the defrost cycle , the refrigerant velocity, lubricant retention will focus returns to the compressor . Therefore, the frequency and duration of each defrost cycle also need to be carefully set to avoid large fluctuations in the oil or oil strike .

 

Multiple back refrigerant gas leakage rate is reduced, the speed is too low will result in the return line oil retention , not quickly return to the compressor .

 

Oil back into the compressor housing does not mean back to the crankcase. Using the crank chamber vacuum compressor oil return principle , if the piston due to leakage caused when the crankcase pressure rise wear , oil return check valve pressure differential effect automatically shut down the oil return pipe from back then remain in motor chamber , unable to enter the crankcase , which is the oil return problems , the oil return problems also cause starvation . This accident occurred in addition to wear old machine, starting with liquid refrigerant migration triggered by the return oil can also cause difficulties , but usually shorter , up to 10 minutes.

 

When problems occur in the oil return , the oil level of the compressor can be observed continuously decreases until the hydraulic operation of the safety device . After the compressor is stopped , the oil level in the crankcase resume soon . The root of the problem lies within the cylinder back to the oil leak , timely replacement of worn piston assembly .
